A Personal Brand as powerful, unique and memorable and the AI we create

In a world that is racing towards automation, where we are constantly talking about AI, machine learning, and algorithms, I want you to talk about something different.

What if in this AI-driven future, our most valuable, most disruptive asset isn’t silicon or code? What if it’s our own Human IDENTITY?

And yet, there’s a paradox. Without a purposeful personal brand—one that goes far beyond a resume or a simple LinkedIn profile—the unique voice of that Human identity vanishes. This isn’t about vanity. It’s about visibility. It’s a journey back to our human state. A journey to clarify our purpose, our origin, and our direction, so we can unlock lost opportunities and attract new ones.

To understand this journey, we have to look back. Over 100 years ago, Carl Jung spoke of the “persona,” the social mask we present to the world. Our personal brand is the intentional, strategic design of that mask. Jung also gave us the “collective unconscious”—a shared, innate reservoir of archetypes and instincts. It’s the deep-seated, universal language of humanity that we all tap into. Exactly for this reason, we attribute human characteristics to brands to make them more believable, more “ours” for our customers.

Today’s AI has a powerful parallel. It taps into a “collective information” base. It scrapes the entire digital ocean—every text, every image, every interaction—to find patterns and generate responses. So, if the collective unconscious is our shared humanity, and AI’s data is the digital equivalent, our personal brand—our Human API—is the unique prompt that gives shape, purpose, and emotion to that vast, collective knowledge.

So, how do we build this Human API? It’s at least a three-phase process.

  • First, Building the Platform. This is the internal work. I personally do that via Jung’s personality structure, identifying the essence, ego and persona, together with the authenticity axis. Then, we define our core values, our unique skills, and long-term vision. It’s the foundational code of your brand.
  • Second, Visualization and Verbalization. Once the platform is built, you visualize it. This is your brand’s look, your feel, your story, and your unique voice. It’s the documentation for your API.
  • And third, Brand Communication. Finally, you communicate. This is about engaging, not just existing. You share your story, your insights, your unique perspective. You don’t just push out data—you create dialogue.

For you, the IT leaders and HR professionals, this means more than just sharing technical articles. It means sharing the “why” behind the code. The problem it solves. The human impact it has. Consider a leader from a prominent Armenian tech company. Instead of just talking about the innovation, Let’s humanize it. Let’s share the journey, the setbacks, the passion for building, and the commitment to the team, thus humanizing soulless technology.

That leader’s personal brand, no doubt, builds trust with clients, investors, and—most importantly—the next generation of talent. It transforms cold innovation into relatable stories. And here’s the disruptive part for HR: A leader’s personal brand is the foundation of employer branding. When leaders embody the organization’s values, they don’t just represent the company—they are the company’s culture.

Authentic leadership attracts top talent. It’s the magnet. It turns genuine human connection into a strategic engine for growth, retention, and success. Data shows companies with strong employer brands see 50% more qualified applicants and reduce hiring costs by 43%. Your personal brand directly impacts talent attraction.

With all said, in the age of AI, where automation can replicate so much, investing in your human identity isn’t optional. It’s the key to relevance. It’s the key to connection. It’s the key to sustainable success.

So, my final call to action is this: Let’s stop just building algorithms. Let’s start building ourselves. Let’s make our Human APIs as powerful, unique, and memorable as the AI we create.
